Big thanks to everyone who came out to support The Open Eye show tonight! I always appreciate you so much. Thanks and congrats to Kelly Meno for the backup singing. It was our first of i’m sure many times on stage together! Thanks to everyone who bought something from our shiny new merch table. I am VERY grateful. Seriously. Making a CD is expensive! And thanks to whoever left the note in the tip hat. I really appreciated it! Sorry I couldn’t make it to the other show. And finally, as always, thanks to team turtle for making the show happen. I wouldn’t get anywhere without you! Now, it’s bedtime!
It’s been a REALLY exciting week so far! I did my first magazine interview with Resound Magazine, a new magazine about to launch in Chapel Hill. I also have my first radio interview (and I think I get to play a song) on Friday April 13th. I’m not sure whether to be stoked or nervous that my first radio interview is on Friday the 13th?? And I’ve got my first show after a long break on Saturday April 14th. I may even have a backup singer with me (from my backup band that’s taking shape.) So it’s been busy, busy lately but I’m have a BLAST!! The new CD is out and selling and I will have a couple of the first batch of new Tee Shirts available at the show this weekend. We will have them up for sale on StorEnvy as soon as we get a bug fixed.
I’ve also got two other magazine interviews shaping up to promote the CD release and we have a couple of really cool bigger shows/festivals tentatively shaping up for summer and early next year. So i’m happy as a clam and I can’t wait to play this weekend. Hope to see you there!!
